The image looks like an oil painting. The viewpoint is really ideal for showing all details. The colours are outstanding and the way the lake ends to the mountain is eye-catching. 7

Beautiful image. I wish you would've said where it is. I live in Oregon now and I think it's somewhere in this state? Regardless this picture reminds me of 'America the Beautiful' from top to bottom it is a pleasure to view.

A splendid image, perfectly captured, that surley deserves the award Gragory.
We have in the Alps a very, very similar lake at the basis of an old glacier and the beginning of the valley (near Cortina d'Ampezzo).
