This is beautiful. The warmth and purity is striking. A classic and all that colour is gorgeous.

Dear Anson Thank you for the very kind and thorough comment. I actually took this photo while the rose was lying in the water of the birdīs waterfountain while eveninglight came down and created a light/shadoweffect:-) Best wishes, Annemette

This rose was floating in the birds waterfountain, and it made me think of lifegiving water which is why I put it in the waterproject:-) I knew it would surprise some. Thanks for stopping by, my California Kid true commentator friend:-) Best wishes, Annemette

A very unusual perspective, Annemette, with the stem, and I assume a vase, completely out of sight. A beauty of a flower, and the white ones are always the most difficult to photograph without throwing the background too dark. I like the idea of the wood toned table in the background, but the outline of the table running through the center of that beauty is a little disconcerting to me. The flower may have been better seen completely surrounded by the wood, but with the curvature of the table off at the 1/3 plain to the right. Still nicely done. Anson

A soft, scenic image, Annemette. Don't get why it's in the water project (#30) though . . . Is it floating in water??
