About I waited 2 hours to get this pic. Keith Saint one of our members who lives in Ashington phoned me to tell he was sending his Homing pidgeons and they would be passing through Haltwhistle at about 7.30Pm. Unfortunately it was 9 30pm when they passed by.

They could be the very same pigeons that sit on my roof at night.

Did you tell SM I was putting some photo's in the Haltwhistle thing by any chance?

I like this! The silhouettes of the pigeons are sharp. The warm colors are pleasing to view.

Paul, what makes you think that. Would I do Such A thing? These birds are a rare breed in the Nort of England and are called photoshopicus birdicus.

Hahaha. I had no idea:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angel_of_the_North

It's huge. I mean HUGE.

Are you sure those are pigeons and not pterodactyls?

Danny Brannigan   {K:19523} 7/25/2006
The structure is part of "The Angel of The North"A huge sculpture consisting of 200 tons of Steel. It's probably best if you Do A "Google search" as I am a poor Typist and it would take me ages.

Patience is essential in photography. Bravo. It was well worth the wait. What is the structure in the foreground?
