Good suggestion I will try it, certainly as layer to experiment, the softer focus should make it seamless. I enjoy the way such processes add an element of movement to a photo but have learned to use the feature sparingly. Appreciate the comments.....and thanks on the congrats :)

Interesting idea. To give the effect more impact (of course depending on the editing program you use) . . . I'd suggested isolating the tall, standing person and applying the effect to the remaining photo only . . . either pasting in the untouched person over the shot or not applying the effect to him so that he alone remains very focused. This will help to accent the fact that this is not just a blurry picture but an intentional effect.

Did you set the shutter spped to high and then, just while clicking, zoom out ????
