Hi Chad,
Thanks for the input. Yes it would have been good to do multiple shots bracketing the composition...but to tell the truth the only reason i was up that early was that i was rushing to the airport and was in a big hurry..lol...so i had to use what i had.
Your crit was right on thanks.

The sky is nicely exposed, but the foreground is kind of flat and dark. It would have been nice if you had used a hard gradient filter to get a little bit more exposure on the foreground. Or if you were shooting on a tripod you could bracket your exposures and then composit them together in a photo editing program.
