A beautiful lily! The colors are good. Details are sharp. Slight distraction from the background is the only negative I can see.

I know, I'm struggling here, the drout has taken a toll on my flowers here. Some are blooming but they have defections on the pedals. I appreciate your comments and you guys are right.

Hi Ken!
Yes, I would have to agree with Robbie on this. You may want to look at another angle to shoot the flower. The background is distracting and does not do justice to flower. Maybe shoot from a lower angle (with a telephoto) so that you have the petals covering the background and the pistils just peeking out? Just a thought. You might actually just shoot in between the two petals (there's an opening I see at the 7 0'clock area) and use it as a frame? Take care!
