About Film Revival
------------
Thought I'd post some images I've had on film but never got around to scanning. My scanner is not very high quality, so never mind the unavoidable quality loss. :-(
----------------

Another shot from my years on staff at summer camp. This time, my good friend Alex, who was an aqua-nut.

I see your point, I suppose. Honestly, I considered cropping it out, but felt conflicted as I didn't want to lose the weighted feeling from his leg and hand in the lower left. Any recomendations for that?

Thanks a ton for the meaningful feedback! :-D

I understand your point, Jacob. But clutter is distracting to the viewer, who cannot understand context. In this case I agree that a good pic can be made a lot better by deleting unimportant detail. To me this is the major difference between an amateur snap and professional work.

I don't know. I hear a lot of people saying to crop out materials in front of subjects, but personally, I like the feeling of perspective that objects in images provide.

Thanks for the feedback!

This is a nice portrait, which could be improved by cropping out the water bottle.:)
