About Who says that lightning doesn't stike twice in the same place?

On this shot the shutter was open long enough to capture two strikes that hit the same hill-top within a few seconds of each other. You can see a slight orange glow just to the right of the ground strike; this was a fire that was caused just minutes before. Thankfully there was enough rain to drown it fairly quickly.

Thanks very much everyone for the kind comments on this.

Justyna, I was shooting these lightning shots for three nights of storms here. Each shot was leaving the shutter open for a minimum of about 30 seconds. Some of the shots I left the sutter open much longer (as much as 1 minute).
