Shot tonight in the desert behind my home. At the last minute, for grins, I converted the color version to sepia and it turned out I liked it better. Lightning is over the Haystacks Mesa.
Hi Dave, I think this definitely sharper than your previous lightning shot you posted, your 300mm also pulls in the image. Just curious why you converted to B&W, the colors of the clouds and sky would have been "electrifying" with the lightning. I meant to send you this link earlier : http://www.cimms.ou.edu/~doswell/ltgph.html Bottom placement is very good, but my eye tends to looks for that color in the clouds. Take care!
