Thanks for your comments Rafi. Yes it is relatively peaceful here, and it is impossible for me to comprehend how it is in your country and the neighbouring countries. I guess everyone needs to be optimistic about a long term resolution of the problems and continue to work towards that end. Keep safe and don't lose hope.
It's so peacefull in your corner of the world & it shows so well in these ecent photos of your. So different from our corner. If I were to sit at such a picnic table, were they are to be found, mainly in the north of the country, I'd come under rocket fire. Thank you for your comments on my photos. There's something I'd like to add & I hope you'll not hold it against me. I do it because I'm afraid we're not always represented in foreign media the way we really are. I received it on the Internet. So here goes: Regardless of your feelings about the crisis between Israel and the Palestinians and Arab neighbors, even if you believe there is more culpability on Israel's part for whatever reason, the following two sentences really say it all: If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence. If the Jews (us, Israeli) put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel. Best regards, Rafi
