Michele: you've written "I know it should be 'gagle of gesse but 'gang' did seem more appropriate to me. so am not sure if you are teasing me?" I realy thonk that the title is adequate to yhe picture! It's real 'gang' of gees. Do you know the behaviour of the flock of gees? On the picture we can find the leader (the goose on the right, with inclined head) and his companions still ready to help him in wrangle ("Do you want anything from us?"), to help him to gaggle.

I'm so very sorry to hear about your mom!
I did not even know she was sick Michele.
I saw that photo of her and I was thinking,
There is a lively upbeat lady with a lot going on! I also thought you did live together already,
wow. That is sweet of you to be supportive. I always thought if my parents got sick I would be there for them. If the time ever comes or when it comes I hope that I'm able to be there for them! I will pray for you and your mom Michele!
I hope all will be ok.....If you get the time try to keep me informed.
As for what I really think. I will be honest as I know that is what I would want to....:)
I know sometimes its hard. Some people don't want to know the truth and get hurt really easy.
I dont want to hurt and so when I see something I don't care for I just don't post anything but for cases such as friends and I know there is a desire to grow then Ill say something. For truely that is the only way we get better! I just want to be careful as I know that photography is an art form and a thing a beauty.
Beauty then being in the eye of the beholder. So some will like one thing and not another and the next person with like the other and not the one thing! What did I say! ummmmm I think I better shut down for the night. Gotta get up early early and go to see the doc in the morning then back to work! TGIF tomorrow!.....:)

I need to be out of where I live and move in with my Mom since she is failing worse daily. The latest date would be 8-15...but it might happen sooner if necessary. I will keep in touch. It sounds like you have made a quick move !
Hopefully mine will be quick too... We have both moved enough for the rest of our lives eheye ?
I know you are not as confident in your work as you should be Paul.
You do very good work... Please tell me what you really think so I can learn.

I think Doyle's critique was about right as far
as the format from portrait to landscape helping the over all image. See my experience in critiquing lacks abit, However I was right on with everything else! lol Your doing such a great job lately on your photos. Such an improvment! Its exciting to see you grow!
You said you were getting ready for a move on your end? When, where, why? Noisey ain't I?

Good idea and good subject. Would have been improved (IMO) if the format was landscape instead of portrait . . . the up and down format here caused a crop of these beautiful geese which detracts from the shot.
Without cropping them . . . you would have had a much better shot. Their position in the frame is very good and the focus is spot-on perfect! Colors are good too. Wonderful image . . .

This is one of those shots that I was leary of posting...not sure about the composition so here is that dilema again about critiquing your own work.
I was happy because when I was about 5 yrs. old a large goose attacked me & put the fear of geese in me ..ha! Silly I know but I was traumatized then and still had some fear until Monday morning.. (some boring in-sight to my geese relationships ..Haaa!!)))
