Thank you Edward for your detailed description, far more than I expected but hugely appreciated for when I wear my childcare hat. The fur looks and sounds just like one of my cats, grey brown on top, white underneath. We are convinced her father was a possum! I love this animal's name and the children are going to laugh when I tell them! Thanks again Cathy

Thank you for your comment Cathy.
From Wikipedia: Dik-diks,named for the sound they make when alarmed, are small antelopes of the Genus Madoqua that live in the bush of southern and eastern Africa. Dik-diks stands 30–40 cm at the shoulder and weigh 3–5 kg. They have an elongated snout and a soft coat that is gray or brownish above and white below. The hair on the crown forms an upright tuft that sometimes partially conceals the short, ringed horns of the male. Ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dik-dik

How petite, what is this? The eyes and ears are so sharply in focus. Well done. Cathy
