Not under seige my friend and I never mentioned a rule . . . just a feeling that this shot would be more dynamic off-centered. Personal opinion for this shot and--in fact--some shots DO need to be centered.

Good tones, color and hue but do tend to agree with Shirley that the centrality detracts from the overall image. It'd be much more dynamic were it to be more off-center. That said . . . I sympathize with the thought of cutting out some of that gorgeous sky! Nice work.
