Super capture Marcus. Congrats on the POD. You make it look easy, which of course as we all know is not. The whites are perfectly exposed. Keep shooting. Regards Ron.

Theres a lot to love about this shot. First the clarity of the exposure is perfect, the humorous title is right on the money plus this is no easy shot to get. Great timing! Great Job, Birds in flight is exact timeing and you have managed to do that as well as make me laugh. Love it Great job

Great work Marcus! Beautiful form from these birds and perfect timing - the blurred background is a great bonus to this excellent shot. Excellent work.

Just curious, when you pan and capture birds, do you do burst mode or just try to get one clean shot each time? I just shot some motorsport shots (and am currently uploading them) and did some panning - although I know the line they'll take, it was difficult. I can appreciate your in-flight captures even more after this experience =)

Hi Marcus,
I commented on this one on it's original posting. Not sure what the problem was that they had?

Anyway this is a great example of how that lovely subtle background (especially the tree fronds at the top) can add interest and quality to a wild life image. It is a nice example of how to use natural framing IMO.
Congrats on the award!

Yes, Marcus, I commented on this one, last night (our time), before the UF crash. I, also, lost my uploads and heaps of comments.

This is another superb bird image! As usual, absolutely top notch - Marcus Armani - Master of bird photography! :)))

Cheers

What a strange shot. The branches encroaching from above. The stiffness of the bird (nearly) in flight. The unusual angle. Somehow it all comes together. Well done.
