It's (as Carlen stated from the start) a perfect shutter speed! I think the composition is very nice, the colors are appropriately saturated and I love this one -- into my favs!

Doyle I <~~~~~~

...this is nice work Rob, the water frozen in time against the stillness and bold colors of the rocks, it comes together very well.....like a lot of other water courses around the world at the moment Rob, this would increase in excitement with another foot of water in it!!....good work. cheers, david.

Hi Rob, very nice how the river flows through the scene and very nice light.

Still, to really catch the viewrs eyes, I think limiting the view, and perhaps enhance the light in the fore ground a bit will concise the vies, focusing on the details in stead of on the general build up of the overview.

Not sure if it's an improvement, and it's not entirely needed here, but my first raction was that i browsed over the photo to see what else was in the photo, and if I could detect a prominant point of view. As I couldn't find any, a mild disappointment took over - a pity, as the shot is pretty good, very well handled.

Cheers,

Hugo

Nice perspective. Gives me a feeling as though I am peeking at the falls from behind the boulder. You have also nailed the exposure and shutter speed. I liked it.

You've mastered the technique of capturing streaming waterfalls.

Wonderful image and the exposure time is perfect.

Excellent sharp focus on the surrounding rock area.

I think you have used the perfect shutter speed for this photo because the water gives a sense of motion yet is softly blurred. It seems to me like the composition might have been tricky due to the surroundings but the natural framing you used on the right works really well. Overall an wonderful shot.
