About Loch Ard Gorge in Southern Victoria was notorious as a GRAVEYARD of Merchant shipping. The unpredictable weather was too fluky for the best seamen to navigate this treacherous coast and many LIVES were LOST. The Great Ocean Doad traverses this spectacular coast and is a popular pushbike ride and Tourist attraction.

Hi Juan,
Thank you for your comment, I understood the last word and I guess the others were in the same vein. I can only assume this is being translated to you in Portuguese, if that is your native tongue. maybe it should have been in Spanish.....
Kind Regards
JD

Thank you, Ivonne.
The setting just happened to be right for me this time, although I have made several trips to get the right shot, the mood of the sea and lighting is ever-changing.

Hi Larry,
Thanks for the comment. I think it can be a case of 'take enough photos, and see what happens...'

Thank you, Jacques.
As I mentioned in another comment, the scene can change dramatically with the turn of the weather.
If you are in OZ anytime, take the time to visit the Twelve Apostles coastline..

Thank you, Addison.
NO photoshop here, just happened to be there at the right time. Incidentally I have been there in ALL types of climate and the mood changes dramatically each time.
It's a pity I'm about 16 hours drive away from the Twelve Apostles and The Great Ocean Road.
Appreciate the comment.

The view looks incredible here. I've never been there but to me it feels like your photo has captured the essence of this place, especially with the waves and stormy day.

WOW!

I love the way the rock strata carry you into the distance. I like the way you have let the scale of the landscape speak for itself, without pushing everything to death in PhotoShop.

I'd like to hang this on my wall.
