I try to stay away from offering technical critiques. I'll let others, much more experienced than I do that. What I look for is if a picture moves me emotionally or not. This one definately moves me.

Dear Doyle, I sincerely appreciate your honest critique...and you are completely correct. This was one of my very early composites, and I probably would do it differently now.:)

Hi Shirley!
Ok, the blossoms do, indeed, complement her hair. The composition is good but in looking at the double exposure effect here . . . I think IF your model's face were moved toward the center of the shot -- the BG image would not give her skin a mottled lavendar effect that carries into her hair. The flow would still be good and the shorter, center lavendar plant would flow nicely too. Naturally the right side crop would have to be brought in to balance the composition. Just a thought and I certainly don't mean to presume to tell you your craft . . . in this sort of artistic endeaver, you certainly have me outexperienced and this strikes me a little like a house painter telling Michaelangelo how to cover a spot on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.
So . . . That's my thought . . . but I do really like this anyway . . . just an idea of how it MAY be improved. If you disagree . . . then . . . uhhhhhh . . . well . . . never mind (I was only kidding)! :)

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Nice shot dear Shirley,
I like this collage because of its tenderness and fine choice of both, her red hair and the light all around,
But I think it could have been better if you make the flowers vertically mirror so that empty space in left side match the woman body,
very well done,
Mohammad
