About	This is shot of a meercat, it has taken me a long time to get a shot as good as this of these fasinating animals. In the full image you can see the sky reflected in his eyes, including the clouds. The difficulty here is getting the right DOF .. F8 at 1/250 one twitch and you've missed it

Great image, Terry. Regarding your borderline lighting comment, why don't you boost the ISO, or maybe shoot at EV -1 and correct later? Up to ASA 400 I don't find any significant noise, and even at 800 noise is manageable. "Noise ninja" seems to work well for some of those with boosted ISO.
