About The John Hancock tower was built in 1976 and at 241 meters (790ft), it is still the tallest building in Boston. It is a sleek 60 story tower with a glass curtain wall. This design was quite problematic for a long time. The windows kept popping out. They are fixed now. :)

Dear Shirley,

I would like to know in what context the photo would be used in the graphic because this photo is of the John Hancock tower in Boston designed by the renowned architect, I. M. Pei, and there may be a legal issue if it was used as a logo for a company. Otherwise $50 is fine because it is a friend of yours.

Email me privately at andree.lerat@gmail.com

Cheers,

Andree

Dear Andree, a friend of mine is doing graphics for a business and would like to purchase the use of this photo from you, if possible. They most they are willing to pay is $50. You would still retain all rights to your photo, of course. Please let me know. Thank you, Shirley.

Thanks Hanggan. I didn't know what it was called. This building was one of the first ever built using the curtain construction. It is a 60 story with a glass curtain wall. It was built in 1976 and is 241 meters (790 ft) high and is still the tallest building in Boston.

Cheers my friend :)

Great reflections and geometry, Andree. That's the strength of curtain wall construction. It sure does look like curtain :)
