For years I've found many B&W photos from DSLRs somehow unsatisfactory (it could be just that they were different from the film-based images I was used to). But I must admit, Ed, that your results with the D50 are changing my mind. That lovely dreamy OOF background, and the full range of tones in this beautifully sharp image, and the lovely textures of skin and fabric are really gorgeous. I'll bet it makes a lovely print!
