Great portrait! For me, if you include a child and a cat you can't lose. The highlight of this image is the young girl's eyes: being the only true white elements they draw our eye right to them.
The best aspect of this photo is the girl wanting a cuddle and a cat wanting to play with a strand of hair. Well lit and closely cropped, you have created a window on this special relationship. CC
