Joggie - Thank you. I really like back-lighting with candles. The lighting is subtle but you can get great color saturation out of subjects.

A true abstract shot, James, with a great deal to explore in the beer mug itself, particularly the portion below the top that is lit by the candle. A little more light on the lower part somehow (pubs are notoriously dark) might give the viewer an idea of what they are looking at though. The glass of a mug could be of real visual interest if brought to light. (No pun). I think we need more of this sort of true abstractual photography here on UF. Well done. Anson
