After having no luck [or skill] whatsoever in capturing fireworks, I think this is wonderful. I understand what the others are saying about the crop, but it may not have been possible to get the full version. The eposure time is perfect to show the colpurs and shapes. MAry

Very nice and very sharp Sam. I like the colors, the clarity, and the details...I agree if it were possible to not have the bottom one cut on each side, but it may not have been possible to get that, and I know I couldn't have done any better, a lovely capture of these fireworks...:)

Gorgeous and strong Sam. The colours and the contrasts. I love to see the water with it.

Very nice capture, Fireworks are not the easiest and your exposure is excellent, very nice colors and the detail at 15s is without blur, I also like the light off the water. The only thing I can see that could be improved is the crop being a bit too tight, but as far as these FW shots go it dosent get much better!

Thank you Doyle, I Do have some of these type shots in pano format. After viewing it about an hour later, I can where the image looks a tad bit static. The hard part about shooting fireworks is that it is really hard not to get a static looking image. This year was my first attempt at shooting them. I really appreciate your thoughts and honesty! Please continue to critique my work. It is the only way that I get better. Thank again my friend! Best Regards

Cool shot Sam . . . but as it's listed in CC I'll mention what, in my opinion, could improve this shot -- and humbly, considering your portfolio . . . just things for you to consider!
First, the composition feels a tad bit static to me due, I think, to the centrality of the displays. The crop also has cut the burst on the lower firework on both sides and would be better if it weren't so tightly closed in (if that was even possible).
While I see a bit of smoke in the lower burst . . . the smoke which tends to mar so many of these shots is almost completely absent and that's really good.
Reflections, colors and lighting are great.
Overall it's a pleasing image and I think the coup d' grace is the glorious reflections off the water.
Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~~
