Yes, sometimes itīs impossible not to take a stand and get involved. Iīm involved in local politics sitting in the board of a local leftwinged party probably because both my parents are/were involved with politics. I donīt burn for it, but I think that itīs an important part of democracy to participate in the decisions that are being made in society.

It's strange... I've never been very politically-minded in the past, but things are changing on that front. Those bozos in power just make my skin crawl and I'd like to see them stripped of their robes and finery and made to crawl through the dirt with the rest of us...

Very well stated, Patrick. Itīs good having a forum and a way to express discontent with worldpolitics. It gets even more interesting when having people from all over the world discuss different matters.

I couldn't agree more, Annemette... Bush claims to stand for everything that Bin Laden does not, but really their views are two divergent points on the circumfrence of a circle... they are moving along different paths to start off with, but eventually the points meet and intersect and one realises that they are one and the same...

Dear Annemette,
I know them from their sight!
Such individuals did take a big piece of my young life! And so I can't do nothing else that to admire the courage of the artist that dares show them in the "passable" light.
Go on my viking maid!
Cheers,
Nick

Exactly!
Such simple yet very... biting work is one of the best means for demonstrating how the power in their hands is misused.
Your raise your finger and tell us what to do, but now we know the face of both of you sending us to the deadly race that you decide. And you demand us all to fight your holy wars, stand at your side and kill, while you hide behind you raised fingers of your preaching! It's time that we present the bill! Your dreams intoxicated brought us misery! Our homes now devastated thanks to you, and you are standing at the gates of purgatory!
Many many thanks for this Annemette!
Take care,
Nick

Dear Maxime Thank you for your thoughtful comment. There are so many layers to this, but basically we have two men who need an enemy to stay in business and be popular. One claims that the moslem world is more or less aiming to destroy us, and the other one claims that we are evil beings only thinking of destroying all Moslems. In that way they try to maipulate not only individuals, but entire nations which is so sad. True - we are different in some ways, but donīt we all share the same dream of living with our fellow-beings in peace? We are so much more alike than we are different. Have a nice weekend, Annemette

What a courage idea and what an active and alive art-presentation dear Anneemette!
The war Ben Laden and George W. Bush have established seems to be an ideal policy and alternative for the supremacy ideology and dogma! Over 45 000 death just in Iraq means over 30 death per day! However we know today: We dont do body counts, said General Tommy Franks Us central comment!
The truth is that Bushs administration would do all theirs power to protect Ben Laden if he is still surviving, which I doubt! Bush could not survive without Ben Laden and Ben Laden would not be famous without Bush-administration propagandas. The philosophy behind this management is If you dont have an enemy, then create one please! I appreciate your deep courage and creating this provocative image! Best regards: Maxime

Thank you, dear Yashar. I knew that some people would be bothered by this, but I think that photography is also about stating opinions although they can be thought of as provocative to some. Itīs impossible to please all, so I prefer to be true to my feelings.:-) Take care, Annemette

Couldn't agree more Annemette! I would rant, but to sum it up in this image is a striking idea. Having the hands. And the strength brilliant- you should be MP!
