Agreed, I'd either crop tighter or give it more space, in between the two it seems edgy and doesn't fit into the peaceful qualities the flower aims at. In that same line I'd consider taking a higher or lower angle, the small portion of the upper flower I see makes me want to see more of that, or conversely none of it (by moving lower) Worth a retake~

I really like this photo. The Subtlety of tone and the lighting combine to make it almost romantic. The only comment I would add is that it could use a little more space on either side, but since the background is a deep black anyway it can be easily added if it's not on the original neg. This is only a personal preferance though. It is still a wonderful image.
