Thank you Gabino, they are not really weeds but in my garden they seem to grow just like the weeds do.
It is the Ganzia flower, and they come in several shades of orange to yellow, they do give the garden some color when nothing else has bloomed.

Nice looking weeds!!! To me, everything about this shot is perfect. You shot it from a great angle. It's my favorite color. (Call me biased)And the detail against the shallow DOF is just superb.

Clive: Very good portfolio, great work. Thanks for the help. I have been playing with the neat image soft. It appears that my scanning method creates a large amount of noise ( epson 2450 scanner). This softwear is a powerful method to remove the noise. I will do some further reading about it and my scanner. Thanks Calixte
