You are really too kind Albert!
I enjoy photographing people...in particular women, as they usually feel more comfortable with a female photographer (I think...)and therefore relax for the camera without feeling "intimidated".
Perhaps the reason that many of my images are somewaht painterly is that I am a painter as well as a photographer. I love texture, mood, and sometimes perhaps I over-do it photographically. ?
Your kind words are very encouraging.
Warmest Wishes, my friend! Aniko :)

Hello Aniko,
Very sereen, relaxed, romantic and vunerable impression of the woman.
The ultimate fantasy of a woman, for romantic men.
You put this one very nice on photo. It looks close to a good painting. Compliments, and show us more of these beautiful images.
Greetz and all well to you my friend, Albert

Thank you Jan... yep real grain :)
I prefer to use old cameras and REAL film. I keep my old grainy films in the freezer and it is amazing how well they last! I don't even own a digital camera other than a small Mavica for "snap shot" type images.
I appreciate you comments, as always.
Warm Wishes, Aniko :)

Hi Paul... Nope. Had I PS after the scan on this, I suppose I could have burnt it in. DOH ANI!!! LOL!
It is sunlight!!! This was a very straight (and fast) scan and no mucking around at all in PS. I'm glad you pointed it out to me. It would be easy enough to burn it in a little in PS. Will look into that!
Thanks! :) Ani

Always up for constructive criticism, Chris, and thank you ! However, there is no digital noise here. It is the actual FILM grain. No post processing. Shot in camera on very grainy print film, scanned, and no PS work.
I have a few versions of this "scene" (made within a few minutes of each other) but this has actually been the most popular! Perhaps I will post a "tighter" more focused on face one sometime.
Thanks for your comments, Chris and Warm Wishes, Aniko :)

I love the composition, but I just wish the top of her head, and all that floral detail, weren't blown out. ...or was the result of a diffuse blur?

I am a fan of grain as well, but I would describe this more as digital noise than grain. I also find the background to be abit distracting and out of place given her dress and the title. I do like her expression, but would like to see this w/ maybe very short DOF w/ sharpness on her face only?
Regards, Chris
