Hi Carlen, First off, I want to thank you for all of your kind words on my images. I really appreciate them very much!:-)
Now on to this picture. I Love the details of this little gal. Things I would have done to make it a bit more dynamic are.
1) I would have posted a shot of the duck that included more of the foreground...That way you can maximize the reflection. And it wouldn't give off a Boxed in Feel. 2) I would have cropped this in pano format. Putting the duck in the upper left corner and giving the duck a direction to go. 3) I would have cloned out the white fam spots that are a bit distracting.
Looking at your portfolio You have a good eye and have a lot of wonderful images to be proud of! Keep up the good work and please feel free to comment on any of my work. Kind Regards
Sam Graziano III

What's a chest halo? I can't see it.

Wow Carlen!!! This lil gal IS posing for you!! Great focal clarity and a great pose . . . nice colors too. I'd be remiss if I didn't remind you to try to keep the subject off-center to make the composition more dynamic . . . but that can be fixed by a slight left-side crop and, though it could be MORE dynamic . . . it's a reelly good shot. Vandy's attachment may have made it seem sharper but she has added a chest halo which is distracting and unnecessary (IMO). Awesome work!

This is such a pretty faced bird. I love the sheen on its beak. Nice work. CC
