Well Dear Brenda . . . rules were made to be broken. Having demonstrated mastery of a craft a photographer is, indeed, entitled to break a rule here and there! But not without a reason or goal.
This is one absolutely beautiful Cypress tree and the reflections in the water are just stunning!! Your colors in the sky are beautiful and earnestly reflected in the beautiful still blue waters that run beneath the tree. Your horizon line . . . which I bemoaned in the last beautiful shot . . . is perfect here!!
I like that the land deceptively makes the intial reaction of a viewer one that considers a horizontal tilt, which does not, in fact, exist! The water line, not the land is the key and you have perfectly leveled it using that line.
While not as minimalistic as the last composition . . . the details in the subject here are wonderful . . . and the composition as a whole is amazing. Personally, the only way I can imagine this shot improving is if the crops on left and right sides were wider . . . not cutting off this wonderful tree.
You found a perfect subject for studies of and . . . frankly . . . I don't think you could bore me with these shots . . . they're fascinating!

:)

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

I love the contrast, color, and reflection. "Picture perfect". I'd hang that poster on my walls. Nicely done.
