Excellent portrait.....love the combination of the BG and the artist and his work.....I just had to see if a change of crop and some slight lighting changes would help or not...your piece of work..your decision.!

You're right about the colors of the paint that one could not see in a B&W version, but this photo would be also great in B&W for the lots of things that one can see in this painter room. The choice is difficult.
This is a nice capture Giulio, and the light is really well managed.
