About	Juvenile. Male. Phalaropus lobatus. From Radio Rd, Redwood City, CA. These guys are another Fall visitor. They migrate from Alaska and Northern Canada. Theya are among the most beautiful and colorful shorebirds, unfortunately they get their breeding plumage until March.

Excellent shot of this shorebird, Yamil! I haven't seen this type of Phalarope before, here we only seem to have the Wilson's. I like the detail on those fluffy feathers you've captured.
