Hi Emgy.Thank you for taking the time to make your most interesting comments.I like your version of the photo too!I also spent ages playing around in curves and contrast/brightness and eventually came up with this version;it all depends on how you are feeling at a particular moment in the creative process as to how it all turns out.The great thing is that there are so many possible versions to try out as long as the basic composition is good.

Hi again, Tony.
Not easy to choose. I like them both,they are two different photos but I think that photo 1 is technically better. Photo 2, though, is a great close up and a fabulous abstract especially interesting for the very nice composition. I like the blue tone too but, I think that some slight adjustment of the contrast and the light would make the image more lively, dynamic and maybe even more attractive. It's only my personal opinion and just a matter of taste, though. See the attachment and please let me know what you think about it.
