About First of all I think it's clear that I didn't take this photo(: This is a historical photo taken around the year 1923 in Turkey. The little girl on the left is my grandmother(she is 85 now), her elder sister on the left, and their father(I don't know what he is to me, maybe grand grand father?) at the middle, dressed in the way that the gentlemen used to do in those days in Turkey. I have lots of theese in the old albums, maybe I should post them all on a website. What do you think of the photo?

No I did no restoration but the copy I've scanned was already restorated, I guess, from the line passing over the left arm of the girl on the left you can see it.
And the dressing is one of the last signs of The Ottoman Empire, Ataturk had the infuence on 1925. That's what makes this foto seems really old to me, and the suprized emotion on the face of the two girls. How strangely they are looking at the photographer behind that huge camera and under the cover...

Did you do any restoration of the image Turgay? It looks as if its in beautiful condition. The image itself is very captivating. Is your great-grandfather's dress a sign of the influence Ataturk had on the country following the First World War? Just a lovely image. Thank you for posting it.
