About	Jim Thomas, of The Mermen, favorite of the organizers of The Mavericks Surf contest in Half Moon Bay, CA, on stage before the winner was announced. It was a blurry photo, so I attempted to disguise that with polor filters, and water filters. There's also some halftoning on the guitar itself. I thought the look evoked the sort of surf sound. But maybe not.
