Hi Arthur, I am sorry that I did not get back to you earlier. Looks like Todd is right. I checked the Sibley guide, page 436, and the specimens painted look a lot like this guy. Take care buddy and good luck birding. Yamil

Thanks very much Todd, I suffer from some colour blindness and have real problems trying to identify the birds. About the only colour I can see here is the yellow. Thanks again.

Arthur,
It looks like a Yellow-rumped Warbler. There are typically about 20 species of warblers that can be seen at the Britannia Conservation Area during migration. We are currently in the middle of this activity and Yellow-rumps are usually the most plentiful. Careful when you check your bird books. Most of them have pictures of birds in their breeding plumage only. Try the Sibley Guide for good ID pictures in various plumages.

It looks to me it might be a Least Flycatcher, Art, but I'm no expert! Whatever it is you've made a great capture of it, with fantastic detail and you caught a very nice pose, too. Dave.

Very pretty, nice and sharp with beautiful soft colors surrounding. Cant help with the i.d. though, they are all sparrows to me.
