oh... this image contains many elements of reflection: First it looks to be a small seamen votive chapel? on of those that usually contain a Madonna icon? If so, it is extremely interesting that those seamen put a non-sacre image in it, though she still is a sweet woman... About the title you chose: to my eyes he looks more... "perplexed" than thwarted from her beauty... About the techincal matter: an "honest" photo, with the two faces well balanced and with the woman not even looking at him, like underlined in yur title...
