Hi Joggie. My daughter has some shots of the cheetahs killing a goat and feeding. I can well believe they are still very dangerous. I'm glad you're being careful. I love this series of photos. Almost as good as your macros. Cheers, Ann.

Hey Joggie . . . Nothing to critique in this one! Just an awesome capture! I like the presentation in this one better than the greenish color under your signature in the other cheetah shot. I see why you used it, but this has a cleaner, crisper feel to it and makes for a more elegant presentation (IMO). Amazing shot my friend . . .

Thanks Ann - this was taken at the cheetah farm. There are two groups, one group is held in a cage and is very tame. The other group is held in a larger enclosure of about 2 hectares and although they are not wild, they are not tame either, my brother witnessed an incident where the male attacked a photographer who did not respect the animals and ignored their tell-tale signs of irritation/agression. The photos here were taken on foot with the 80-400 zoom and close to the minimum focusing distance. The cheetahs were well fed the previous day and were very docile, ignoring us most of the time. Regards. Joggie

This is a brilliant wildlife image, Joggie. So clean and sharp, you can see the texture on the cat's tongue. Excellent colours. Is this Cheetah wild or living at the Cheetah Farm my daughter has told me about? Cheers, Ann.

And all I got was one tiny bobcat. I sure hope you had that gyrocopter standing by.
Excellent shot, Joggie, as per your usual, fabulous light and composition. Unbelievable how crisp this is, the detail of the ripples on his tongue is just amazing.
Best wishes, dave

Another great cheetah capture... he's so absorbed in licking his paw and the fur is still moist... you even captured the texture of his tongue... I hope you don't mind I put it in my faves.

Wow that is one sharp image! Its like you took it laying one foot in front of the cheetah. I really like how you captured this candid shot. The exposure looks perfect, I don't see any bright spots or any underexposed areas. Nice depth of field showing a completely blurred background of I'm assuming dry grass.
