About This tree seemed to still be living but had a deep hole about 18 inches thru it to the ground.... I added a small green leaf to make it easier to see something thru the hole... I think now it should have been a bigger leaf ... anyway 'what do you make of this kind of heartiness ? Cut a hole in it ...it still keeps on growing ! Is there anyone who knows about this kind of thing? Maybe a horticulturist ...? All comments always welcome . . ..
Thank You for your Time

That's Ok Michele,
I would myself rather recieve CONSTRUCTIVE comments/ critiques than gushy/b......t comments that often come back. People like James Cook, etc seem sincere.
Kind regards
JD

Whoa! That was an exchange between two fellow members of a fraternity that I thought was to give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, not just criticism!
As Jason said, pay little attention to a critique who doesn't offer some helpful advice!
There was nothing wrong with the composition, etc of the pic to warrant a blast like that..get over it.
Kind regards,
JD

Mich,

Yee Ha,

You are quite opinionated indeed. That's a quality I love in a good woman.

In short your capture really blows, just so you know. Nobody except God can do anything with it, so put in the trash can... (I do it all the time)

As far as any constructive critiques, that went out the window when you fired the shutter on this 1... Sorry, but you tanked on this capture...

The title of my work was "The Fire Down Below" not the "fire down there"? And I couldn't think of a better title at the time... I’m sorry that you have breast envy, because these shots were done in very good taste…

I certainly didn't mean to hurt your feelings, but I can clearly see by your remarks, that I did. Sorry for that...

I hope we are different indeed. Otherwise I would be "Gay"... I'm a man and you are a woman... When was the last time you were with a real man?

Your not going to get in my pants with all of your complaints, I can tell you that right now... ;)

Martin

No problems Martin... but I did feel you could have at least given a more detailed ctique... because You saw 'no value in it' ... doesn't mean I should toss it all away does it ?

I love constructive ctitisism...
This is why I am here .

You basically told me there was nothing to be salvaged at all and I guess this is how you view it...

I on the other hand always beleive there is value in nature everywhere ..the presentation was not good ... but everything can be presented in a better way...yes, just in my own opinion.

It didn't hurt my feelings .... We are just different .

We have different views and likes and dis-likes such as I did not appreciate your glamour shots You also were critical of me NOT crititquing...

I don't care for the shots of women's breasts, and insinuating sexual conotations..as in 'the fire down there' .

Yes it's art... but not my style...
I really don't think we have so much in common ....
You are a very good photographer... and I wish you the best always.

I hope you understand what I am trying to say.

Honestly,
Michele~

Mich,

That was the very best language I could use sweetie. ;) ... I have left you very good critiques before and after this 1.

Thank you for sticking up for me... :( ... I thought we had an honest relationship, but I guess I need to lie to you from now on... :(

As for Jason, LMAO I did see his posts... ROTFLMAO...

I just call them as I see them and I really didn't mean any harm to you at all! You know I love your work and I just want to see you get better each and every day...

Great idea to get into it! And to put the leaf in it. I don't know anything about them and whether they grow though!

Thanks Jason... I do listen to what 'everyone has to say' is my Major problem tho ....

You are very kind and most people who don't have something nice or constructive to say , use better language at least... I figured it was definitely not that good of a shot but geez I'd at least leave it for a day ... see any other responses... damage is already done 'so to speak' ...
Thank You Jason,
You're a kind person.
Best wishes,
Michele~

I wouldn't pay too much attention to Martin's comment if I were you, Michele. It's comming from someone who gets cheap thrills by posting pictures of girls that can't even afford to buy enough clothes. He doesn't even do his own lighting.

I find it interesting that a tree can grow with a hole through it, and I'm glad you posted this picture. You're right though - a bigger leaf would have been better.

Jason.

Mich,

This capture shows no subject for the eye to veiw, IMHO. I don't see any value to posting this 1... To me it seems like pure trash...
