Love the colors to this (as is usually the case with your landscapes) and the winding road and lone tree are nice attention grabbers. Works pretty well for a photo which at first glance seems a bit too plain.

My thoughts, Rob? A lovely, simple image! Great colours - love the sky! Without the road, the scene would not hold the viewer's attention. Well spotted and captured!

I like how you composed this with the winding road starting at the lower right port of the image and then have it meandering off to the left and out of view.
The colors of the earth and sky are beautiful. I like just the small touch of clouds in the sky - I feel they make all the diference in this image.
