I understand what you mean and thanks for your comments. What I have learnt in the last couple of years is to bracket especially when there is a sky involved. This image was taken with a simple pocket camera so I could do nothing even if I understood what I was trying to do

Maybe my eyes are shot but this doesn't look as sharp as it could be. If it is my eyes, then I apologise. I do like that you composed the main subject a little off-center. Love the colors, esp. that deep aquamarine. I would have made it 1/4 of a stop darker for better saturation but I guess that is a personal choice.
