Oh my friend, that's a very nice creative abstract shot. Great idea what's very well seen, full of excellent & exciting details. The colours and vivid reddish tones are so impressive. Print out after mount up your wall. Wonderfully done! :) 7+++
Have a nice day dear Kes! Robert

OMG Kes, that spider...OMG it's way too big, my heart is still pounding. Looks to me like it should have to pay RENT!!! I can't comment on that and Lord I'm staying out of Texas...LOL...sorry to comment here about that, but I was so shocked at just the thumbnail, I don't dare open it, I wouldn't be able to close my eyes again...LOL!!
Beautiful light and colors in this abstract Kes, you really captured the textures and the mood, absolutely love the composition with that lovely lone leave...the angles, and shapes add interest, very nicely done...Have a great weekend my friend...:) Lin

Brilliant colours and tones. The little leaf is such a wonderful detail. I think I prefer it without the handle though. The texture of it somehowe doesn't fit the rest.

Encantador Abstracto de estupendos colores, la hoja, lo puramente real dentro de ese otro mundo, contrasta perfectamente en sus formas y colores. Felicitaciones Kes!

Thanks Andre!
This was my buddy's car when I was a teenager. Lots of great cruising was experienced with it!
I had all the mechanical repaired/restored...and then I bought another history-rich Galaxie from another friend. This one got put on the back burner and is still there!
Now days any old car is getting difficult to come by, and my "rodder" friend says that if I think I'll ever want an old car to restore, to keep these.
Of course I would prefer a '68 Camero, my old teen car...but those are way out there in price now.
Anyhow, as the layers of paint & bondo fade away, this car just gets prettier every year, lol.

A very original piece of work Kes my friend with excellent tones and textures. I love the inclusion of that Autumnal coloured leaf, that's way cool. It never ceases to amaze me how beauty can be found even in an old rusting car. Well done to you Kes. My very best wishes to you as always......Ray:)

Thanks Hanggan! I used a tripod because of the small f/stop here, and that allowed some time to think about the composition.
With a film camera a tripod seems to come naturally, but with the digital camera I tend to just bump up the ISO and shoot. I know, we should always use a tripod! :) Even on my point and shoot Sony it made a difference. However, sometimes we are in a hurry! :) All the best, Kes

Beautiful Kes!
Rust Never Sleeps :)
It takes a good eye to capture an old workhorse from a completely different perspective! Great job on this one! You are selling me on the D80 with images like this.
Someone commented on one of my auto shots about how funny it is that the chrome remains almost intact while the rest of the car sort of deteriates around it. You captured that same feeling in this one. Andre
