That's Mt. Pilatus near Lucerne, Giuseppe. Not very high but it stands there so photogenic!

Indeed it is one of the most clearest lakes in th world. There are so many fresh water sources that fill it (and thus replace the already available water), that it has a complete water exchange in seven years, whereas lakes of this size need at least 20-22 years to completely exhange their water with new. One can still see the bottom of the lake at 10-15 meters depth. Such a fun swimming betwen fishes and birds!
I have only seen one lake that had even clearer water, and that was the small but incomparable crystal clear lake of Davos. Swimming there is like flying!
Many thanks for your nice comment and keep well!

Dear Nick A beautiful photo that makes me think about how this place looked like before there were people settling down there. The water looks so clear and tempting. Take care, Annemette
