Hmm... I put this one in my favorites years ago, and I just notice I never commented on it.
So, 2 years at least too late:
WOW! This is going right in my favorites! ;-)
The light and sharpness are amazing. The way you still have WHITE and creaminess in here are also fantastic. Makes me wish I had shot it. :-)

It's interesting how many photos can be made of a magnolia blossom. This simple image in almost white gets lots of it's appeal by use of the soft light. Sorry couldn't assigh a numerical rating the scoreboard is broken on this image.

I look at your portfolio every now and then to see if you've uploaded anything new, you were gone for awhile and I missed your beautiful photos. I just caught this floral series and, as usual, am not disappointed. This one is my favorite. It looks as if you took your time to get this just right. The petals are like silk but with a hint of the veins to bring out their elegance. The placement of the center is just where it should be to give the composition maximum interest. This is another one that reminds me so much of a Georgia O'Keefe painting and cements my idea that you are an artist.

After MUCH study of these three posts, I have to claim this one as my favorite. The natural lighting is so even, wrapping around the flower without any distracting shadows. The flower center is SHARP as a tack. I can practically smell the perfume right now. Amazing! All of these are beautiful.
