Great capture with that vivid blue water Cleveland ... years ago I stayed at Katmai and watched the salmon leaping up the falls to get to their spawning grounds .. they worked so hard only for many of them to fall back and become a tasty lunch for the bears!

Visited The Totem Heritage Center, one post in my portfolio, of two old Tlingt totems but none of the beautiful painted ones, maybe next time, will have more time in Ketchikan.

Hello Cleveland,
I see you are in SF, Ca. BUT this shot was in Ketchican, Alaska where I have family ! Got me excited for a second! It's a beutiful image of these magnificent salmon .
Great shot ! Great detail, color, and composition....
