Well, Ameed, it is a rather ununderstandable thing to me that most of the photographers here try to manifest a pacifistic view of nature, when all science agrees that it is quite a war in fact.
But the further consequence of such facts is:
1) We accept some kind of idealized nature that never existed, and so we live in some dream - dream of photography in our case,
or
2) we simply see the raw truth, and we accept that any philosophical ideal *is* the departure of the savage natural state. Humanity includes much more deep questions than any romantic view might ever reveal.
I am rather type 2. We have to accept the truth before proceeding to any cognition. ;-)
Best wishes,
Nick

Nick, You have a wonderful way of seeing things, You see it more from a moral and philosophy point of view. I stood allot at your statement '' if destruction is also a part of nature '', I found this part scary, if you think about it, you will find it really scary, as we all '' Mankind '' part of nature, would destruction be a basic instinct in us?!! Is it why there are wars and peace never been known globally on planet earth? is it why children break their toys? tons of scary questions jump to my head as much as I think of this phrase, Nick, If you are married, Please send your wife my kindest regards and tell her that she has a very interesting person to live with, and to go gray with as well. If you have kids, tell them they are lucky. If not .. then don't .. you will drive them crazy ;) Just kidding Nick, Your comment is one of the most interesting feedback I've got. Thanks my friend, Regads,

Another stunning image and a very "uncomfortable" one! You managed to put "vistual flames" on this one, as it looks like burning. But it also looks already burned and dead at the same time - a very strong support to your subject, as the ansence of peace (flames-destruction) and its results (death) are on one and the same image.
Perhaps making peace with nature and with each other is one and the same thing, described with different words. Since we all *are* parts of nature and we do destroy nature, one could also question how it can be possible that nature can act against itself. Except of course if destruction is also a part of nature, in which case the question would change to how much destruction can take place until nature annihilates itself?
Best wishes,
Nick

Thanks allot John for your kind positive comment, Highly appreciated. I've tried here three shots, one with 2.8 Aperture, one with 8, and this one. This one came the as I wanted it, with the broken branches in the focus to reflect the Wind force that broke it, leaving the background blurry with those wonderful colors. Thanks allot once again .. Cheers,

Interesting perspective and terrific color. One suggestion - maybe next time shoot at a super high aperture for some serious depth of field. This could bring out some interesting detail in both the foreground bark, and the background foliage. I think the broken ends of the branches are pulling my eye away from some of the more interesting aspects of this shot that some greater depth may bring out. just my 2 cents
