Indeed, Nessa, that motorway to Italy is not very attractive. There was no other possibility to make it somewhere else, and as there was the necessity to have some connection to Italy, they had to build it there. Thanks heavens more and more such motorways are covered with a roof on which then grass, plants or even trees can grow.

Indeed not a place for such a street (it is the motorway to Italy.) But, alas, in Switzerland the main problem is that you can't built anything as you would like to have it, since the mountains dictate the possibilities.
Around Beckenried you can find many dragons sleeping on some peak or enjoying the sunlight. (I had some good single malts with them, really nice guys. ;-))
When I was living there I could see the paragliders flying in front of my windows while landing, so indeed let's leave the car and let's go sailing with the wind on water or in the airs. Who cares about big cars and suits, anyway?
Lovely capture ..love the view across the lake ..the only thing that spoils it (not you but modern day )is the bypass or bridge in the b/g..beautiful place ..nessa
This image gives a good perception of size in this landscape. Although the bridge is fascinating it would be much nicer not having this around, so destroy that one:-) Who neeeds cars when you can fly and sail?:-)This is a landscape for gnomes, fairies and trolls, not people in suits and fancy cars.
