Since I know nothing about the processes, I can't speak to them.
However, I can say that I feel the entrapment is one that paralyzes the subject - there is a sense of defiance given by the way she wards the viewer off with her hand.

beautiful mood and texture here, interesting that she is trapped in this flowery world, interesting that it is blue, peace - melancholy - the point where the two meet? looking out, looking in? very emotive piece.
