Thanks Valery...so many things to play around with and learn...I just learnt that you can erase people! Wouldnt that be fun if you could do that in real life...hehehehe, only joking!!

I think I'm getting my messages backwards because this is the first one I have received re this photo - I was wondering whether I could do something with her eyelashes as they are quite dark and long and didn't come out well - you're a real fountain of knowledge...thanks so much for the great tip!
:)

ooh, forgot to say....(silly me, no brain)...if you use a program that has 'sharpening' you could use a fine brush, zoom in on these gorgeous eyelashes, and sharpen them up (each individual lash) a bit to make them more defined, also anywhere else you would like some extra definition, the curve of the nose, lip line, chin etc.

Sandra, this is a beautiful portrait! A great, unique angle, nice close crop and fine detail. Another thing you can play with is contrast, which can give a nice boost to some shots, especially B+W. You are doing a great job with your experimenting and posting some gorgeous work!!! Watching your creativity bloom (sounds cheesy, I know...LOL) is so exciting to see:)
cheers, Bek

Saturation. Simple but effective. If you'd only know how many fancy ways there are of converting color to b/w. But this one does the job all right! Love your dog too. I wish my cat is even half that patient. Valery
