Lynn, thanks for your comment. I'm using it as a background on a website. I thought something that didn't have very dark or very light would work best for letters. It was a special find.

Hi Ron! Nice to hear from you. It's a fourth generation jpeg. I can't find the original.b I've darkened the hilights and lightened the shadows to make it low contrast so it would work as a background on a website. And it was processed using the "make seemless" filter in the programme gimp.
