About 6 days of hard trekking and not a singl emoment with visibility more than 10ft. What can one do ? I'm pretty sure this will regarded as one the worst posts in UF. But it is the only one which i have from that trip and worse, i like it :-) ..

Dear Sandip,
Bujhtei parchi onek hard work er pore eta newa, tai jar jinis tar theke bhalo ar keo bujhbe na.
Tobuo definitely I like the cropped version, it gives an effect of a forest fire...mainly because it is too dark. tachara kichu ekta dorkar chilo aro interesting korar jonne seta ete pacchi na, mane sei punch ta nei. tobe description ta porar pore kintu etake abstract hisabe bhaloi lagche with the grainy effects! tobe abhra thik boleche landscape hisabe khub daracche na.
besh moody no doubt, and for that you deserve a 5.5 atleast.

Sandip, this shot is not my type. I noticed the fine ridge of tress coming out of the clouds which should have been exciting, but the shot is too dark to appreciate the good things in it. 4/7

the grain definitely add to the retro feeling of this shot.

Oh dear, now i'm really overwhelmed. I did not expect this at all. Thank you very much.

Actually i had a cropped version also, and was undecided which one to post. Then i thought no one look it anyway, so why change the original. Below is the cropped version for you.

Thanks again, this is one of the preciousmost surprises of my (tiny) photographic journey.

Regards,

-sandip

Well, surprise, Sandip...I love it! It is soooo moody! With the grain and in B&W, if the white area top were cropped off, it gives the feeling that those ragged trees are souls straining upward in hell. The mist looks like smoke. Am I being too dramatic? Anyway...it's a great shot for me!;)
